Writing and Speaking

Writing

Academic writing serves academic people. I acknowledge the utility of this writing style within the discipline, but these texts are often insufferable.

My objective is to reach a wider audience. I either write directly in human language or take the linguistic snobbery out of my academic texts and rewrite them for the web or print.

Mentoring

I believe in the intrinsic talent of each individual. Anyone willing to focus on a passion can achieve outstanding results.

I had the pleasure of mentoring a great variety of young talent and had a little bit of contribution to their development.

I share personal anecdotes from my career and prevent my mentees from making the mistakes I made. I also challenge their work and career choices but will always fully support their decisions.

Speaking

The best way to learn is to teach. I share the insights I gathered throughout my career with the community.
